JOIN ME AT THE WINDWARD RETREAT CENTER IN OAHU HAWAII THIS NOVEMBER

Hawaii 4-Day Retreat: Thurs. November 14th to Sun. November 17th 2024

This retreat is for those who have been on the pathless path for some time; flirting with what it means to let go and let reality be as it is… fully. During these 4 days we will explore what it means to go all the way to the heart of experience itself. Through directed self-inquiry sittings, group de-hypnosis meetings, 1:1 sessions, and guided outdoor walking meditations (in the jungle and on the beach) we’ll pull apart the thin illusory veil that seems to separate one from life and all that happens within it.

The retreat will take place at the beautiful Windward Retreat Center which is located on the windward coast of Oahu in the small beach community of Ka’a’awa, 1-hour away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. There are several sign-up options available for attendees looking for lodging and those who are day-guests. Delicious local catering will be included for all attendees and transportation arrangements can be made for those needing a lift to the center.

See below for sign-up information.

WHY ATTEND THIS RETREAT?

COME JOIN ME IN ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES ON EARTH

This journey you’re on is a journey of one, but it’s not a journey towards isolation, it’s a movement away from it… away from the internal resistance that continuously strives to protect you (and separate you) from life… all in the name of self-preservation. The beautiful thing about what you’re awakening to however, is the realization that what you *really* are doesn’t need to be protected or preserved at all. This retreat is an opportunity to step into freedom directly and discover for yourself what true security means: the release of ownership of things both internally and externally… and thus, the inheritance of everything.

Join me as we step into freedom amidst the energetically supportive environment of Hawaii.

WHAT IS MEANT BY
‘GOING BEYOND THE COSMIC HYPNOSIS’?

(excerpt from my interview with ‘Mystic Mag’)

Hypnosis is essentially the process that enables a human being to identify with the world around them and thus create a mind-made identity based on that world. In order for hypnosis to work, only two key ingredients are needed: total trust in an external authority and total acceptance of the suggestions given by that authority. This is why when you first entered the world, you became hypnotized; your mind-made reality formed itself around the suggestions given to you by your environment; an environment that you had no choice but to completely trust in. Almost all human beings are currently in a state of hypnosis because almost all human beings are identified with their mind-made realities.

In my work, I use the hypnotic process to essentially ‘de-hypnotize’ people so that they can awaken to their liberated true nature which lies beneath their suffering-based mind-made reality. Rather than trying to help people resolve specific unhelpful habits and beliefs with hypnosis, I like to focus on the root cause of ALL unhelpful habits and beliefs which is the fundamental over-identification with the body and mind (identification with the character known as ‘me’). Once that fundamental over-identification is addressed and starts to dissolve, all other unhelpful habits that have come from that start to dissolve on their own as a byproduct.

This retreat is an opportunity to go beyond the existential hypnosis that we were all born into and fully awaken to the liberated innocence of your unconditioned true nature.

YOUR STAY DURING THE RETREAT:

The Windward Retreat Center is located in Kaʻaʻawa, Hawaiʻi, a small beach community nestled between spectacular mountains and beautiful white sand beaches on the windward coast of Oahu. Ka`a`awa is a picturesque 45-minute drive from Honolulu International Airport. The grounds consist of over three acres of tropical rainforest ringed by the Koʻolau Mountains, and just steps from a white sand beach with amazing sunrises.

Designed to be a private and peaceful setting conducive to relaxation, reflection, and creativity. The retreat center building has a large central meeting space with a 13′ high wall of glass with sliding doors that open to the lush jungle, bird songs, and the rhythm of the ocean.

The retreat center offers communal accommodations (shared rooms with individual twinXL beds). There are also 2 private rooms with queen beds and 1 private ‘glamping’ room with a queen bed which will be given out on a first-book, first-serve basis. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel in Honolulu during the retreat and you don’t have access to a vehicle, a shuttle will be available to pick you up at the start of each day from a designated pick-up location and one available to drop you off each night after the activities have finished for a small fee.

Bonus Massages!

Students from the Quantum School of Massage & Holistic Health in Honolulu will be offering complimentary massages at the retreat for anyone interested.

There will be breaks throughout each day that will allow time for you to get your massage in.

Delicious Food

The retreat will be fully catered with fresh wholesome food that’s delicious and made from natural and local ingredients. If you have any special dietary concerns just let me know.

You can view a tentative menu of the retreat’s meal plan HERE.

RETREAT FAQ’S:

I’d like to attend the retreat, but I’ll be flying in and have no means of transportation when I get there. Are there any shared transportation options available?

Yes. If you can’t make the drive yourself to the retreat center from the airport, then we can arrange a group ride-share where you’ll meet at a specific location (in Honolulu) and then drive up with other retreat guests. Please email me directly (here) after booking with your transportation request.

Is there an option to attend the retreat without having to stay overnight at the center?

Yes. If you don’t need to use the center’s accommodations, then you can choose the ‘Day Stay / Local Stay’ sign-up option for the retreat. You’ll still be able to take part in all of the retreat activities and will have all of your meals covered. You can find the ‘Day Stay / Local Stay’ sign-up option (here).

Will I have to bring my own food?

No. The retreat will be fully catered with fresh wholesome food that’s delicious and made from natural and local ingredients. If you have any special dietary concerns just let me know. You’ll receive dinner on Thursday after you arrive, and then on Friday and Saturday you’ll receive breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Sunday you’ll receive breakfast and lunch before you head home as well. You’re welcome to bring any snacks of your own to the retreat. Here’s a tentative list of the meals that will be on the menu during the retreat: Retreat Meal Plan.

I’d prefer to stay in a hotel in Honolulu during the retreat instead of staying at the center. Is there a shuttle that can pick up and drop off attendees at the center each day if they don’t have their own vehicle?

Yes. There will be a shuttle available to pick you up in Honolulu at the start of each day from a designated pick-up location and one available to drop you off each night for a small fee. It’s about a 45-minute drive to the retreat center so you’ll need to be up a bit earlier in the mornings for the pickup in order to arrive on time at the center before the first scheduled activity begins. Please email me directly (here) after booking with your transportation request.

What if I need to cancel after I’ve booked? Do I get a refund?

Due to the costs involved in organizing this event and the holding of your spot during the booking period, refunds will not be possible. However, if you’re unable to make it to the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances then a credit can be applied to a future retreat with me or to one of my session packages.

Can I pay for the retreat in installments?

Yes. If it’s easier for you to spread the payment out, you can split the retreat fee into 2 payments, 2 weeks apart. Please select the split-pay option on the check-out page when booking.

Can I choose the type of accommodation I will get?

The retreat center offers communal accommodations (shared rooms with individual twinXL beds). There are also 2 private rooms with queen beds and 1 private ‘glamping’ room with a queen bed. These accommodations will be given out on a first-book, first-serve basis.

Regardless of what options you have at the time of your booking, you can rest assured that your space will be fully furnished and very comfortable. If you would like to request a specific accommodation type please email me directly (here) after booking and I will let you know the options that are available.

As mentioned above, if you would prefer to stay in a hotel in Honolulu during the retreat and you won’t have access to a vehicle, there will be a shuttle available to pick you up in Honolulu at the start of each day from a designated pick-up location and one available to drop you off each night for a small fee.

Will I have a chance to speak with you 1:1?

Yes. Each attendee receives a 30-minute 1:1 session with me. A 1:1 session is an opportunity to bring up questions that are more unique and personal in nature and specific to your life situation.

Whether you reserve a 1:1 session or not, you’ll still be able to speak with me throughout the course of the retreat since this gathering will have an intimate atmosphere where everyone will be able to share easily with everyone involved.

I will be flying in to attend this retreat, which airport should I fly into?

The airport to fly into is Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu since the retreat is being held on the island of Oahu.

How will I know if there’s space still available at the retreat?

There are limited spaces available for this retreat, so once they are all filled I will update this page to reflect that change. If you don’t see a notice at the top of this page mentioning that the retreat has been filled, then there are still some spaces available.

LOVE FROM PAST RETREATS:

COME AND TAKE THE LEAP, JOIN ME!

Up until now our interaction has been mostly through books and online video, so I’m excited to be able to meet with you in person! I’ve found that in-person retreats have a qualitative energetic difference than any other type of interaction as something *else* is communicated through us being together in the physical. I could try to make that sound more esoteric but I’ll just leave it at that.

This is the first retreat I’ve held in over 5 years so it’s been a long time coming! I look forward to meeting with you in November!

Peace,
Kyle

About Kyle

In April of 2002, at the age of 20, I awakened to truth following a long battle with depression.  For the past 21 years, I’ve been integrating this awakening into my life through various life experiences (teaching, becoming a father, etc.).

I currently make myself available to those interested in freedom by offering individual and group meetings online, in-person retreats and workshops. I’ve also released several self-inquiry videos and published numerous books which are available on Amazon such as The Moment of Your Death, The Method, and the 60 Days of Awake series.

Over the last 5 years I’ve been integrating hypnotherapy into my teaching as a way to help others move beyond the veil of mind more efficiently. Rather than having people try to use their minds to silence their minds (which doesn’t tend to work very well), I use the hypnotic process so that the mind can be guided into silent awareness without needing to use any effort of its own.

Kismet Unfolding: A rendezvous with one of my teachers, Eckhart Tolle, in 2003

This different approach to accessing silent awareness allows for a cleaner shift into the state of let-go so that old unhelpful conditioned patterns of behavior can be dropped or ‘re-programmed’ more easily.

The reason conventional self-inquiry teachings tend to come up short is that they ask the mind to try and uproot itself without realizing that an aspect of the efforting mind must always remain in place while that attempt is being made. This creates an often futile practice.

My ‘de-hypnosis’ method of self-inquiry removes this subtle aspect of the mind from the equation by using the same hypnotic process that first formed the mind’s foundations (in order to reverse the unhelpful effects of these foundations).

I’ll SEE YOU IN THE SUN!
